BUYO bioplastic products are being showcased at the SOVAC Expo 2023 in Seoul as part of the Top 10 Tech Solutions under the SK Startup Fellowship 2023. SOVAC Expo is the annual event featuring breakthrough ESG tech solutions hosted by the SK Group with over 2000 visitors.
SOVAC, a social value ecosystem platform led by South Korea’s SK Group, held a large-scale event in Seoul on September 15. This year’s conference focused on the theme of connection, cooperation, and sustainable growth.
As a brainchild of SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, SOVAC has served as a venue for communication and interaction between groups of social enterprises, various professionals, and the public, to address social issues and promote social value.
The platform taps into the upcoming conference to encourage more participation from private companies, public municipalities, and the government, which are all stakeholders in the ecosystem of social entrepreneurship, in order to boost cooperation between the public and private sectors.
The conference will offer lectures and discussions on various agendas. The topics include opportunities to boost industries in response to climate change, strengthened public-private partnerships to promote global entry from social enterprises, and initiatives aimed at supporting local enterprises.
As many as 48 institutions from the private and public sectors, including the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency, will set booths, with about 2,000 attendees.
